Judge Dick Klein has been involved in the jazz scene in
Philadelphia as a bandleader and drummer for decades. His
"Fifth Amendment," featuring Gerald Veasley, John Swana, Sid
Simmons, and Bootsie Barnes,
plays regularly in area prisons, and frequently performed with guest
artist the late Grover Washington, Jr. He is also a part of the
Reading Terminals, that for many years played monthly at the Reading
