David Kaczorowski has been
a freelance doublebassist and bass guitarist in the Philadelphia area
performing in many different genres since 1990.
Mr. Kaczorowski
has
performed, or is currently performing with jazz musicians such as Bill
Davis, Brenda Smith, Michael Barnes, Steve Ford and The Jazz Foundation,
Len DeFrank, Stan Williams, Pio Voluntad, and the Gil Thompson trio.; with
blues and rock musicians such as Richard Johnson, Joe Becton, and Bruce
Branco; and with the Latin dance band, Orquestra Melaza.
David Kaczorowski has performed in pit orchestras for
Broadway-style musicals such as Man
From Lamancha, The Boyfriend,
Fiddler On The Roof, and Anything Goes. David Kaczorowski is a member of Vattel Cherry’s
bassrespanse, an avant-garde/free jazz doublebass quartet, and is also a
member of The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey.
He has performed on the stages of the Philly Fringe Festival, the
Atlantic City Music Festival, the Atlantic City “Chicken Bone Beach”
Jazz Festival, the Philadelphia Clef Club, the Tweeter Center, the
Knitting Factory in New York City, and the Biennial International Society
of Bassists Convention.
